The HydraPier Pavilion was designed by Hani Rashid of Asymptote Architects, New York. A waterfall flows over the roof falling spectacularly across the entrance from spring to autumn. The pavilion is located on the edge of the Haarlemmermeerse bos, a woodland park on the outskirts of Hoofddorp. The pavilion seems to 'float' on the lake and is surrounded by our garden where we grow the food we serve.

This wonderful place lets you forget your troubles. It is never the same. Sometimes the pavilion rises out of the early morning dew and an hour later it is bathed in sunlight. Our unique location emphasizes how close we are to nature. Our visitors are eye to eye with water, air and endless green.
